    2026 International Conference on

    FinTech, Marketing and Business Analytics

    (ICFMBA 2026)

  • Authors Guidelines

    After the conference, authors of accepted papers who have registered can submit their full paper for publication in the Conference Proceedings. Detailed instructions and submission guidelines will be emailed within a few weeks following the conference.

    We accept the submission of high-quality papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, experimental, and theoretical work or research in all of the topic areas mentioned. Submission of a manuscript implies that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

    All manuscripts will be subjected to double blind peer-review and are expected to meet the scientific criteria of novelty and academic excellence. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article’s publication has been approved by all other co-authors and takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

    Review Process

    All submissions to the 2026 International Conference on FinTech, Marketing and Business Analytics (ICFMBA 2026) are evaluated through a structured review process intended to maintain consistent academic standards across the conference’s different disciplinary tracks. The process distinguishes between acceptance for conference presentation and acceptance for publication in the proceedings.

    Initial Screening

    Each submission first undergoes an administrative and editorial screening. The Conference Secretariat examines whether the manuscript:

    Falls within the scope of ICFMBA 2026;

    • Follows the submission and formatting requirements;
    • Contains the required author, abstract, and keyword information;
    • Presents original work that is not under consideration elsewhere;
    • Meets the conference’s similarity and responsible-AI requirements;
    • Provides the necessary ethics, funding, and conflict-of-interest disclosures.
    • Submissions that are incomplete, outside the conference scope, or affected by serious ethical concerns may be returned to the authors or rejected before external review.

    Academic Review

    Abstracts submitted for presentation are assessed by members of the Scientific Committee or relevant track chairs. Full papers submitted for proceedings publication undergo double-blind peer review and are normally assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

    Reviewers are selected from finance, marketing, management, economics, information systems, data science, and related professional fields. Where appropriate, expertise in regulation, financial services, digital platforms, or applied business practice may also be considered when assigning reviewers.

    Review Timeline

    Authors will normally receive an initial conference decision within five working days of submission. This decision concerns eligibility to present at ICFMBA 2026.

    Full-paper review for proceedings publication is a separate process and may require additional time, particularly where substantial revisions are requested. Acceptance for presentation does not automatically constitute acceptance for publication.

    Possible decisions include:

    • Accept;
    • Accept subject to minor revisions;
    • Revise and resubmit;
    • Reject.

    Authors receiving revision requests must address the reviewers’ comments and submit a revised manuscript within the stated deadline.

    Review Criteria

    Submissions are evaluated according to the following criteria:

    • Originality of the research question, argument, or application;
    • Clarity of the research objectives and scholarly contribution;
    • Engagement with relevant literature and theoretical debates;
    • Appropriateness and transparency of the research design;
    • Quality of data, sampling, measurement, modelling, or analytical procedures;
    • Accuracy and restraint in interpreting the findings;
    • Recognition of methodological limitations and alternative explanations;
    • Relevance to financial technology, marketing, business analytics, or related conference themes;
    • Ethical treatment of personal, financial, organisational, and consumer data;
    • Clarity, coherence, and overall quality of presentation;
    • Potential academic, managerial, regulatory, or societal significance.
    • For computational and analytics-based studies, reviewers may also consider model validation, explainability, reproducibility, data quality, and the appropriateness of performance measures.

    Reviewer Ethics and Confidentiality

    Reviewers must treat all submissions as confidential and must not use unpublished arguments, data, or findings for personal or professional advantage. They are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest and decline assignments where their independence could reasonably be questioned.

    Manuscripts and confidential review materials must not be uploaded to public generative-AI systems or other unauthorised external platforms. Reviewers remain personally responsible for the content, accuracy, and fairness of their reports.

    Research and Publication Ethics

    ICFMBA 2026 does not tolerate plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, manipulated evidence, inappropriate authorship, invented references, or undisclosed conflicts of interest.

    Research involving human participants, consumer records, financial information, online behavioural data, or identifiable organisational data must comply with applicable ethical-review, informed-consent, confidentiality, and data-protection requirements. Authors remain responsible for demonstrating that their data were collected, processed, and reported lawfully and ethically.

    Papers of exceptional quality may be considered for conference recognition or invited for expanded submission to an appropriate peer-reviewed journal. Any journal submission remains subject to a separate editorial assessment and independent peer-review process.

    General Requirements

    1. Language
    The conference considers articles in English.
    2. Length of Paper
    The conferencel does not impose strict limits on word count or page number. However, we strongly recommend that you write the article concisely.

    Word Processing Format

    The manuscript file should be provided in Microsoft Word format only.

    Organization of Manuscript

    There is a generally accepted and widely followed structure for a standard research article in academic conferences. While variations can occur based on the type of article (e.g., original research, book review, review article, discussion note, case study) and the specific guidelines of a particular journal, the following structure is commonly used:

    1- Title
    2- List of authors, their affiliations and email addresses
    3- Keywords
    4- Abstract
    5- Introduction
    6- Literature review
    7- Methodology
    8- Results/Findings
    9- Conclusion
    10- Statements and Declarations
    11- References

    1. Title
    The title should be a concise and informative description of the work that accurately reflects the main scope and content of the paper. It should be no more than 12 words in length. Abbreviations and formulas should be avoided where possible.
    2. Author Information
    (a) The name(s) of the author(s)
    (b) The affiliation(s) of the author(s), i.e. institution, (department), city, (state), country
    (c) A clear indication and an active e-mail address of the corresponding author
    (d) If available, the 16-digit ORCID of the author(s)
    If the address information is provided with the affiliation(s) it will also be published.
    For authors that are (temporarily) unaffiliated we will only capture their city and country of residence, not their e-mail address unless specifically requested.
    3. Abstract
    The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, design/methodology/approach, the main results and major conclusions. It should not exceed 350 words. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references.
    4. Keywords
    The author should provide 4 to 6 keywords which can be used for indexing purposes.
    5. Introduction
    This section should be concise and define the background and significance of the research by considering the relevant literature, particularly the most recent publications. When preparing the introduction, please bear in mind that some readers will not be experts in your field of research.
    6. Literature Review
    This section is dedicated to the significant literature resources that contributed to the research. The author should survey scholarly articles, books and other sources relevant to the area of research, providing a description, summary, and critical evaluation of each work.
    7. Methodology
    This section should contain detailed information about the procedures and steps followed in the study. It can be divided into subsections if several methods are described.
    8. Results/Findings
    This section is a comparative or descriptive analysis of the study based on the results/findings, previous literature, etc. The results should be offered in a logical sequence, given the most important findings first and addressing the stated objectives of the study. The author should deal only with new or important aspects of the results obtained. The relevance of the findings in the context of existing literature or contemporary practice should be addressed as well.
    9. Conclusion
    The author should clearly explain the important conclusions of the research highlighting their significance and relevance.
    10. Statements and Declarations
    (a) Funding: Please add: “This research received no external funding” or “This research was funded by name of funder, grant number XXX” and “The APC was funded by XXX”.
    (b) Conflicts of Interest: Declare conflicts of interest or state “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
    (c) Acknowledgments: Acknowledgments of people, grants, funds, etc. can be mentioned. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.
