    Conference Visa Information

Who Requires a Visa to Travel to Jordan?

Planning to attend the 2026 International Conference on FinTech, Marketing and Business Analytics (ICFMBA 2026) in Amman, Jordan? Entry and visa requirements depend on the traveller’s nationality, passport type, country of residence, and intended point of entry.

Jordan distinguishes between nationalities that require prior approval and those that do not. Some travellers may be eligible to obtain a visa upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, while others must obtain approval or an electronic visa before travelling.

    Information to Consider

    Visa eligibility:
Participants should first check whether their nationality requires prior approval. The official list is available from the Jordanian Ministry of Interior.

    Type of visa:
Conference participants will normally require an appropriate short-stay visit visa. The applicable visa category, permitted duration of stay, and number of entries depend on the participant’s individual circumstances.

    Electronic application:
Where advance application is required or preferred, participants may use the official Jordanian Ministry of Interior visa services. Applications may also be handled through the relevant Jordanian embassy or consulate, depending on nationality and place of residence.

    Supporting documents:
Applicants may be asked to provide a valid passport, completed application, recent photograph, travel itinerary, accommodation details, return or onward ticket, evidence of sufficient funds, conference invitation letter, and proof of registration. Requirements may differ between applicants and diplomatic missions.

    Processing time:
Participants requiring prior approval should apply well in advance. Visa processing times are determined exclusively by the Jordanian authorities and may vary according to nationality, application type, documentation, and security-clearance requirements.

    Conference Invitation Letter

The Organizing Committee may issue an official invitation letter to authors and participants who have received confirmation of acceptance and completed the required conference registration.

The invitation letter is intended only to support a visa application. It does not constitute immigration sponsorship and does not guarantee that a visa will be granted. Visa decisions remain entirely at the discretion of the Jordanian immigration authorities, embassies, and consulates.

    Important Notice

Visa regulations, application procedures, fees, and entry requirements may change without notice. Participants are responsible for confirming the latest requirements through the Jordanian Ministry of Interior or the Jordanian diplomatic mission responsible for their country of residence before making travel arrangements.

The Conference Secretariat cannot submit visa applications on behalf of participants, intervene in consular decisions, or guarantee visa approval.
